What is Footy Fortune?
It's a playful football fortune & horoscope app. Pick your team and birth month to get your football sign, then consult the Oracle each day: shake your phone to draw a Football Fortune card with a mystical reading written just for your sign. It's pure entertainment, just for fun.
What's a football sign?
Your sign is a playful football persona — The Stoppage-Time Striker, The Catenaccio Mystic, The Penalty Whisperer and more. It's decided from your favourite team and your birth month, and it colours every reading the Oracle writes for you.
How do I draw a card?
Open the app and tap Consult the Oracle, then shake your phone to draw a Football Fortune card from the deck of football archetypes — The Comeback, The Last-Minute Winner, The Underdog and more. One of the six oracles voices your card, and a reading appears tailored to your sign.
What's the Lucky Kit of the day?
Every draw comes with a Lucky Kit — a lucky number, formation, position and colour to carry with you for the day. It's a fun little keepsake, nothing more.
What is Ask the Oracle?
Ask the Oracle is a free-form, playful Q&A. Type any question and the Oracle replies in character with a mystical, light-hearted answer. It's all in good fun — the replies are fiction and aren't advice of any kind.
What is a Rivalry Reading?
A Rivalry Reading pits your football sign against a friend's sign for a playful head-to-head reading. Compare your signs, share the result, and enjoy the banter.
Does the Oracle foretell anything real?
No. Footy Fortune is purely for entertainment. The cards, readings and fortunes are fiction written for fun — they don't describe any real event and must not be used as the basis for any decision.
The Oracle said something odd.
The readings are AI-generated, so an occasional strange line can slip through. It's purely cosmetic and just for fun. If something looks wrong, email us a screenshot and we'll improve it.
Do I need an internet connection?
The core — your sign, drawing cards, your Lucky Kit and your Fortune Journal — works offline. Only the live Oracle text needs a connection; without one, the app falls back to built-in lines, so you're never blocked.
What is the Fortune Journal?
The Fortune Journal is a timeline of every card you've drawn and every reading you've received, all kept on your device. At any time you can look back with Your Fortune, Wrapped — a shareable recap of your fortunes so far.
How do I reset my progress?
Settings → clear your statistics removes your drawn cards, streaks and Fortune Journal. Deleting the app also removes all local data.
Is this an official football app?
No. Footy Fortune is an independent app for entertainment only and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with any football organisation, league, club or competition. There's no real money involved — it's all just for fun.
